Instagram affirms a bug this morning wrongly rolled out a huge change to its own feed which replaced the conventional scrolling using flat tap-to-advance, such as with Stories. Back in October, TechCrunch reported Instagram has been analyzing tap-to-advance for surfing through Explore articles . But a lot of users awakened into a shock this morning when their recognizable vertical swipe ceased progressing the most important feed. Many users instantly complained the gesture felt somewhat awkward and annoying.
